USA's car market in 2021 rises by 2% with 14.95 million sales, reporting a very strong first half, followed by a double-digit fall in the second part of the year. Toyota conquers the market throne, overtaking Ford.
USA auto market in 2020 falls by 13.8% as the pandemic and lockdowns affect sales. Full-Year sales have been 14.67 Million, the lowest annual volume since 2012. All brands in the leaderboard fall in double-digits except Kia (-4.8%).
USA best selling Cars ranking in 2019 confirmed for the 45th year the Ford F-Series. leadership keeping the record share obtained in the previous year. The surprise is the advance in second place, first time ever, of the Ram pick-up which ran at the new record share, ahead of the Chevrolet Silverado. Two pickups battled for the leadership among car passenger with the Toyota RAV4 prevailing over the Honda CR-V.
USA vehicles sales in 2019 maintained the moderately declining trend, but keeping the full year registrations above 17 million units. Indeed, the full year ended with 17.076.024 units sold, down 1.5% from the previous year. Ford and Chevrolet kept losing terrain, ending at the lower market share in the decade.
USA Vehicles Sales in 2018 sales were at 17.3 million, marginally improving from previous year and gaining the 4th largest annual score ever. FCA is by far the best performing group in the Top10, up 8.3%. Jeep scored and outstanding performance, improving 17.5%.
