France's best-selling cars ranking in 2021 sees the Renault Clio on top, followed by Peugeot 208 and the Dacia Sandero. The Toyota Yaris, the Dacia Duster and the Renault Mégane enter the leaderboard.

France's car market in 2021 rises only 0.5% with 1.66 million sales, reporting a very strong first half, followed by a double-digit fall in the second part of the year. Peugeot becomes the new market leader, losing 5.3%.

France's best-selling cars ranking in 2020 sees the Renault Clio on top ahead of its archenemy the Peugeot 208 by nearly 100 units. The Peugeot 3008 fell in 7th position, while the Renault Zoe boomed 98.8% and entered the leaderboard.

French vehicle market in the second half has recovered the moderate lost reported in the first, ending the 2019 up 1.9%, confirming the great shape under the Macron government. The traditional battle for leadership among Renault and Peugeot ended again with the lion brand in second, while Alfa Romeo and Land Rover were the fastest growing brands.

France best selling cars 2017 dominated for the 7th consecutive year by the Renault Clio, winner 19th years out of the last 26. The star of the year was the new Peugeot 3008, landed in third with the new record volume for a SUV. Top foreign model the Polo, 14th.

France Auto Sales in the 2017 at the best since the 2008 not far from the all time record, pushed up by consumer confidence and rebound in annual fixed investment and industrial production. Hybrid solution gave to Toyota a clear competitive advantage.
