World Car Group Ranking in 2022 is dominated by Toyota which excavated a wide gap over the rival Volkswagen Group. All Top OEMs are losing (apart Suzuki) while Electric specialist are jumping ahead with BYD overtaking Tesla.

World Best Selling Compact Cars segment in 2019 fell down 11.2% with 12.3 million global sales. The Toyota Corolla kept dominating the ranking, followed by the Honda Civic and the Volkswagen Golf. The Mercedes A Class was the best top 10 model, booming 72.6%.

World Best Selling Compact Cars ranking in 2015 dominated by the Toyota Corolla that's running to a new all-time record sales for a single model. Volkswagne Golf overtook Ford Focus. The new Ford Escort landed in 19th place.
