World Largest Car Markets in 2020 reports a global fall of 13.5% due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, with the leader China falling only 5.2%. South Korea is the only brand on the leaderboard to report an increase in sales, while Brazil reports the sharpest drop and falls 26.5%.

World Best Selling Compact Cars segment in 2019 fell down 11.2% with 12.3 million global sales. The Toyota Corolla kept dominating the ranking, followed by the Honda Civic and the Volkswagen Golf. The Mercedes A Class was the best top 10 model, booming 72.6%.

World Best Selling SUV 2017ranking with the Toyota RAV4, the car that in 1994 started the era of this kind of vehicles, back on top of the list, overtaking the former leader, the Honda CR-V. Nissan place three SUVs in the top ten.
