Thailand best selling cars 2017 was dominated by the last generation of the locally made Isuzu D-Max, able to create a wide gap over the former leader, the Toyota Hilux. Third place taken by the other pick-up, the Ford Ranger.

Laos Vehicles Market in the 2017 lost in double-digit. Following the too fast development of the last five years, the consumer demand declined and the domestic brand, Daeham, started struggling. Toyota is again market leader with share over 20%.

Vietnam Vehicles Market in 2017 declined 12.6% after a series of 6 all time record in a row, maintaining untouched the high potential. Toyota gained 4% reinforcing the leadership in the market  ahead of Kia and Ford. Toyota Vios was the best-selling car.

Philippines Vehicles Market in the 2017 hit the fifth all time record in a row, just before the Tax Reform, which has introduced higher duties on vehicles and fuel. The market grew near 500.000 units with Toyota leader ahead of Mitsubishi and Hyundai.

Thailand vehicles market in 2017 started to recovered having bottomed down the long crisis. Sales improved 13.4% despite the leader, Toyota has lost. Several brands reported substantial performance, including the Europeans Volvo and Volkswagen.

Malaysia auto sales in 2017 moderately declined, for the second consecutive year, with domestic brands still losing terrain and Japanese gaining. Perodua still market leader while the stars of the year had been Honda and BMW.

Indonesia Auto Sales in the 2017 increased 6% thanks to economic recovery and despite the introduction of legislations against high polluting vehicles. Toyota and Daihatsu dominates with over 55% of share. Suzuki was the fastest growing brand.

Indonesia Vehicles Market 2016 rebounded moderately after the previous year fall, thanks to the success of new low emission models. The top three brands, Toyota, Honda and Daihatsu at an impressive 72% of share.

Indonesia best selling cars 2016 with the dominator, the Toyota Avanza, over doubling the second, albeit losing volumes. New models are growing starting from the Toyota Calya, Honda HR-V and Honda BR-V.

Malaysia best selling cars 2016 ranking confirms the previous year leader with a podium totally owned by the local brand Perodua. The best new entrance was the Perodua Bezza in sixth place.
