European Car Market in 2023 maintains a positive trend, with YTD sales up 16.8%. Germany is still the largest market, being the only country with sales over 2 million. Italy, UK and France all report more than 1 million in cumulative registrations.

The European Car Market up to October 2023 has performed extremely well, reporting 13.37 million new sales and surging an impressive 16.8% from the previous year.

Germany, remains the largest market in Europe with 2.35 million sales and a 13.7% year-on-year growth so far. This market in fact, accounts for 20.4% of total European sales.

In second place ranks UK, with 1.61 million sales, a 19.6% year-on-year growth and 13.8% market share.

The France closes the podium with 1.44 million sales (+16.3%), followed closely by Italy, which posted 1.32 million new registrations so far (+20.5%).

Further down the rankings Spain maintain 5th spot reporting 789,389 cumulative sales (+18.5%), followed by Turkey, in 6th with 752,764 new registrations (+68.5%).

Belgium rises 1 spot into 7th, reporting only 413,407 cumulative sales (+32.5%), followed by Poland at 391,228 new registrations (+12.2%), Netherlands at 314,700 cumulative sales (+24.5%) and Sweden closing the top 10 with 234,729 sales so far (+3.5%).
