Romania best-selling cars ranking in 2021 sees Dacia holding the entire podium, with the Logan at 11.1% share followed by the Duster and the Sandero. The Dacia Spring enters the leaderboard and lands in 5th position.

The Dacia Logan is a small family car or compact MPV (Logan MCV) produced jointly by the French manufacturer Renault and its Romanian subsidiary Dacia since 2004. It is currently in its second generation, launched in 2013, and has been manufactured at Dacia’s automobile plant in Mioveni, Romania, and at Renault’s plants in Morocco, Brazil, Turkey, Russia, Colombia, Iran, India, and South Africa.

It has also been marketed as the Renault Logan, Nissan Aprio, Mahindra Verito, Renault Tondar 90, Lada Largus (the MCV), Nissan NP200 (the pick-up), or Renault Symbol, depending on the existing presence or positioning of the Renault brand.

Indeed, the Dacia LoganĀ keeps dominating in 2021, with a rising 11.1% of share and 13,270 sales, ahead of the Dacia Duster with 7.6% market share and 9,045 units and the Sandero with 8,227 units (6.9% market share).

In fourth place there is the Ford Puma rising an amazing 6 spots with 3,141 sales (2.6% share), followed by the Dacia Spring with 3,068 units (2.3% share).

In sixth place, the Renault Clio -down 2 spots- registered 2,945 sales (2.5% share), followed by the Hyundai Tucson -up 12 spots- with 2,825 sales (2.4% share) and the Skoda Octavia -down 3 spots- with 2,720 units (2.3% share).

Closing the top 10, the Toyota Corolla rose to 9th place -up 6 spots- with 2,450 units (2% share) ahead of the new entry in the leaderboard, the Toyota C-HR reaching 10th place with 2,101 units sold (1.8% share).
