Greek Cars Market in December of 2022 grows for the 6th consecutive month, with 6,486 new registrations. 2022 totals 105,278 sales, a 4.4% increase from the prior year. Fiat up 37.2%.

In December of 2022 the Greek Car Market grows for the 6th consecutive month, with 6,486 new registrations (+14.7%). Thanks to the momentum built up in the last months, 2022 was able to grow 4.4% compared to the prior year, with sales reaching 105,278.

Looking at cumulative data from 2022 brand-wise, the leader is still Toyota with 14,827 sales (+12.6%), followed by Hyundai -up 1 spot- at 9,116 (+4.2%), Peugeot -down 1 spot- at 9,093 sales (-14.1%), Volkswagen at 7,664 (+2.7%) and Opel at 5,808 (-0.1%).

Mercedes jumps 3 spots into 6th position with 4,791 sales (+11.5%), in front of Fiat -up 6 spots- with 4,738 total sales (+37.2%). Kia maintains 8th with 4,550 sales (-1.1%) and BMW rises into 9th with 4,447 (+6.7%).

Suzuki -down 3 spots- closes the Top 10 with 4,415 new car registrations (-9.0%).
