Sweden Best Selling Car up to August 2023 is the Tesla Model Y, up 6 spots with a 133.3% increase in YTD volume. Kia EV6 enters the Top 10 with a stellar performance, rising 10 spots from 2022 (+34.7%).
In the Swedish market, the top 10 best selling models represent the 29.0% of total sales, which becomes 67.0% when considering the Top 50 reported below.
Up to August 2023 the Tesla Model Y is the new leader -up 6 spots- with 10,407 sales (+133.3%) in front of the Volvo XC40 which stands at 7,212 (-2.8%).
The Volvo XC60 maintains third with 6,900 sales (-3.2%) ahead of the Volkswagen ID.4 with 6,526 sales (+29.8%) and the Volvo S/V60 in 5th at 3,570 sales (-33.8%).
In sixth place ranks the Toyota RAV4 with 3,560 sales (-15.9%), followed by the Kia Niro -up 3 spots- with 3,425 registrations (-44.7%) and the Kia EV6 -up 10 spots- with 3,258 units sold (+34.7%).
In 9th place the Kia Cee’d with 3,190 sales (-39.2%) and in 10th place the Skoda Enyaq -up 7 spots- with 3,119 units sold (+28.3%).
